The event which took place at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel on June 30, saw President John Dramani Mahama, Former Presidents Rawlings and Kufuor, investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, actress Lydia Forson,  technology innovator Bright Simons, Patrick Awuah of Ashesi University and Osei Kwame Despite and young actor Abraham Attah walk home with plaques and citations.

On the fun side, Pulse TV show “Politically Incorrect” host and comedian, Foster Romanus, took the stage to crack ribs.

Ghana’s Most Influential Awards is aimed at recognizing and celebrating the top 100 Most Influential Ghanaian personalities as voted by the general public. They consist of individuals whose works have positively impacted society and their community.

Ghanaian sportsmen, business people, entertainment personalities and journalists, clergy and some other politicians are among the list.
