Guru, the award winning hit maker on the Friday the 22th of January 2016 gave more than a donation of books at a social gathering organized by The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection at Moree in the central region.

The event which was chaired by the honorable Minister Nana Oye Lithur, witnessed several exciting and educational activities such as school pupils’ performance, poetry recital and awarding of prizes to deserving students.

But things really got exciting when Guru grabbed the microphone and performed with a visually impaired student to the delight of everybody present, getting the minister to join them at one point of the performance.

Speaking to Guru about the event and his future plans for the "Education for all project", he had this to say;

"First of all I want to thank God almighty for blessing me with my talent and making me a success enough to give back to those in need and my country.

I will also want to thank my team and family, NKZ Music management for the hard work they have put into my career to make it a success and fans for their prayers and support.

To the honorable Minister Nana Oye Lithur and the entire ministry for the opportunity, support and encouragement they are giving mine “Education for all” project, my team and I are very grateful and wish them the best in all their endeavors.

And also take this Opportunity to invite individuals, religious, governmental and corporate bodies to come on board this good cause and to support our future leaders whiles they need it most."
