NIVEA gave an opportunity to fashion designers across the country to battle it out at the 2019 NIVEA Accra Fashion Week following a careful selection process that was done together with Kwaku Bediako of Chocolate Clothing who collaborated with NIVEA for this campaign.
This competition was done as part of the #NoSOS Campaign for the NIVEA Black & White Invisible Deodorant, educating people on the need for a deodorant that can protect them from sweat, odor and stains for up to 48 hours.
The six finalists were then given the platform to showcase their sense of creativity to Ghana and the world at the NIVEA Accra Fashion Week, which started on October 2, 2019.
The contestants showcased their black and white themed designs and treated the audience to different creative designs.
Araba Gyenyame emerged winner, with Bibiana Owusu Prempeh (Missprempeh_official) and Belinda Compah-Keyeke (Zoharous) coming in second and third-place respectively.
The top five was completed by Bridgette Nana Darkoa (brigy_dakks) and Emmanuel Wilson (darkey_clotheshub).
Meanwhile, Araba went home with a cash prize of GHc5000, a two-month mentorship with Kwaku Bediako and a billboard feature on a NIVEA billboard.
