Prevent sarcopenia with protein-fortified meals and exercise

The best way to prevent sarcopenia is to make sure you exercise regularly and get enough protein in your diet.

As we get older our bones naturally begin to shrink.

This process is known as sarcopenia, and is one of the main causes of frailty, bone fractures.

This in turn affects balance, gait and overall ability to perform tasks of daily living, which contribute to reduced quality of living in older age.
