South African city emerges as only African city on world's most visited cities

Johannesburg is officially the most visited city in Africa.

This is according to a survey done by London-based market intelligence firm, Euromonitor International.

The group which produces current market data and market forecasts, released its annual Top City Destinations Ranking and Johannesburg emerged as the only African city on the top 40 list placing 32nd position.

Johannesburg is the largest city in South Africa and boasts such tourist attractions like Apartheid Museum, Johannesburg Zoo and Gold Reef City.
