KFC opens its first store in the Northern Region at Tamale

A piece of this global brand is going to be enjoyed in the heart of Tamale.

The economic and political hub of the northern region would now get to experience the plentiful benefits that KFC would bring to the city.

This was reiterated by the Executive Director of the Mohinani Group, parent company of Masco Foods who are franchise owners of KFC Ghana, Mr. Ashok Mohinani, who said, “We are proud that jobs have been created with the opening of this restaurant, and we hope to not only create more jobs, but to also enhance the skill levels of our employees to an international brand standard in the hospitality segment.”

The official launch of the store was marked with a colourful ribbon-cutting ceremony broadcasted Live on Zaa Radio 99.3. In attendance was the Northern Regional Minister, Hon. Salifu Saeed, the Northern Regional Chief Imam, Sheik Abdul Salam Ahmed, among other dignitaries who cut the ribbon to officially open the store.

KFC Tamale comes with a Drive Thru located at the Shell Service station on the Hospital Road, opposite the Regional House of Chiefs. The store opens from 10am to 11pm every day.

KFC is a global brand located in 125 countries with more than 20,000 restaurants all over the world. A piece of this global brand is going to be enjoyed in the heart of Tamale.
