1. Sobolo

Make merry this festive season with this delicious drink made from the hibiscus leaves. It is a very healthy treat for everyone and also for all ages. Also called Bissap, this drink is infused with ginger and pineapple juices to give it its sharp taste. It is usually served with any spicy meal.

2. Pito

Pito is made from fermented millet or sorghum or sometimes malt and its popularly found in Northern part of Ghana. It can be served warm or cold and usually in a calabash. It is a strong alcoholic traditional beer that is sometimes used in performing certain traditional rites.

4. Brukina

First of all guys, it’s “Burkina” not “Brukina” as many of you buyers continue to say.  The fantastic drink which can even be taken as a main meal because of its density is made up of  fresh milk, millet and sugar. It’s so popular someone made a song out of it.

5. Palm wine

Also, referred to as ‘Palmie’ by many, this is a sweet, nutritious drink derived from the palm tree. It is delicious when its freshly tapped, but after a few days when it gets fermented, it acquires a slightly sour taste which indicates there is the presence of alcohol.
