How to prepare fish balls

Fish balls are generally prepared from mince of low cost fish. Balls can be prepared by different ways. The simplest method is by deep frying

Ingredients

1 Large Smoked Tuna 2 eggs4 Garlic Cloves3 hot green peppers1/2 an Onion1 Green pepperA small piece of ginger SaltBlack pepperCooking Oil

Method

1. Remove the head of the fish. Separate into half and remove the residues and fins.

2. Rinse the fish. Rub off all the skin and residue of insides. Carefully flake it into a bowl, removing any remaining bones.

3. Blend an onion, peppers, garlic and ginger and pour into a bowl.

4. Chop the green pepper, cracked 2 eggs into the spice mixture and sprinkled some garlic and herb powder over the lot, stirred it up and then mixed the the tuna flakes into it.

5.The mixture will still feel dry and crumble easily as you shape your balls. Add an extra egg if it feels too dry and cannot hold the shape.

6. Heat the oil in a small pot.  Make sure the oil is very hot and fry the balls in batches.

7. Remove and serve they are golden brown.
