The Special Vehicles Operations division is building armored Land Rovers for Jaguar, and the first one, 2016 Land Rover Range Rover Sentinel, is out.

As armored implies, the Rover Range Rover Sentinel can withstand attacks by 7.62-millimeter high velocity, armor piercing incendiary bullets, blasts from up to 33 pounds of TNT, multiple grenade blasts above the roof and on the road surface.

Apart from the above, this armored model has the ability to go off-road should an unconventional escape route be needed.

Other impressive features include a six-piece armored passenger cell made of super-high-strength steel, multi-laminated armored windows, under floor and hood fire suppression systems, a siren and flashing lights system, and an external speaker.
