Celeb Stylist for Yvonne Nelson and Others Debuts Power Of A Woman Collection

Ghanaian UK-based Celebrity Stylist, Jason Boateng has launched his new Resort 2015 collection called POWER OF A WOMAN. Jason has worked with everyone from Will-I-Am and Nicki Minaj to huge African based artist such as Lola Rae, Yvonne Nelson, Iyanya, Nizzy and more.

'Power Of A Woman', the first collection from celebrity stylist and image consultant, Jason Boateng is inspired by red carpet looks throughout the ages. The resort ‘15-collection emphasises and pays homage to beauty and the power of sex yet simplicity.

Jason Boateng Resort ‘15 is a tribute to strong women who aren’t afraid go out and grab the world by the lapels with confidence and the right amount of sex appeal. Luxurious fabrics like brocades, silks, precise hand cut Russian lace and stretched mesh are manipulated together to create softness and transparency, which alludes to vulnerability and strength at the same time. Shades of nudes and whites signify purity while the cobalt blues, gold and black reference strength and resilience, both strong characteristics of femininity. The sheer fabric gives the collection a featherweight feel.

There is lightness and fluidity throughout the collection as well as a nod to masculine tailoring which also oozes sex appeal. The structured masculine cuts on the long lined Blazers evoke a sense of power accentuating the shoulders one of the most flattering parts of the female form. The jackets are lined inside with yellow piping that is signature Jason Boateng, a bit of fun, which contrasts with the precision, cut of the Blazers.
