  • Published:

Aside from the time spent sorting her good looks, many women spend hours packing the contents of their purse every morning.

One good reason some women might be late for every gathering, especially church service could be they just remembered something else to add to their bulging purse.

“Don’t ever look into a woman’s handbag!it is rude!”  This is what you may overhear hear some women say to men. Why? The guys would ask.

Women are always cautious of their handbags not because inside of the bag is not organised but due to the kind of things they may have in there.

And the contents? Well this is supposed to be our little secret but I will try to unravel it for you. Ladies, please forgive me!

Extra slippers

Many times you will see women walking confidently and comfortably in high heels or wedges for hours at an occasion. Please do not be fooled there is always a “saviour” inside the bag. Comfortable shoes are hidden inside to change into when the time is right.

Umbrella

Umbrellas are every woman’s superhero whether rain or shine. Although eating the right food makes your body looks younger and radiant, you have to avoid constant contact with the sun’s dry rays which causes damage to your tissue. Most importantly, it might rain or drizzle unexpectedly. Beware!

ATM Card

It is no crime to walk without money but to forget your ATM card is like going to church without a bible. We live in digital world, follow the trend. No need to waste time looking for change.

Sanitary

Although we try as much as we can to predict nature, sometimes we end up losing the battle. It would be very embarrassing to stain your white pencil skirt at a social gathering. More frustrating when you whisper to other ladies for a sanitary pad. How heavy can it be to carry about a sanitary pad?

Gum

Nothing has to stop you from enjoying hot pepper, banku and tilapia for lunch. Feel free once you have a mint somewhere safe in your purse.

Hair brush

For women who like to keep up a certain look, it is very mandatory to maintain an appropriate hairstyle for the right occasion. This calls for regular checking and brushing when needed to avoid looking all ‘gaga’ and ‘crazy’.
