Cryotherapy is used as a way of easing muscle pain, which is likely the reason for Efrons visit; he underwent surgery earlier this year to repair a ligament in his knee which he injured while skiing.

After warming up from his sub-zero shimmy in the cryotherapy chamber, Efron got suited and booted for the premiere of stoner comedy The Beach Bum, in which he stars alongside Snoop Dogg and Matthew McConaughey. The Beach Bum is out now, and Efron will next be seen playing real life serial killer Ted Bundy in the Netflix Original Film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile, which will be released later this year.
