  2. If your workplace isn't too far from where you stay, you can plan to walk or bike to work instead of driving. If you cannot ditch the drive, simply park a distance away from your destination and let your legs take you the rest of the distance.

Leave exercise gear like dumbbells, leg weights, and skipping ropes deliberately littered at odd locations in your house. The trick is to use them immediately you come across them. You could for instance do some leg raises with your leg weights while watching commercials, or while sitting on the toilet seat!

  8. Hydrate often. Drinking lots of water not only keeps your metabolism ramped up, but it also means more trips to the bathroom! Pick a bathroom a distance away, and visit it often.
  9. Turn your housework into exercise. When sweeping, or mopping the floor, keep your abdominal muscles tight and maintain an upright posture. Scrubbing floors, cleaning the bathtub, and mowing the lawn are great ways to burn some extra calories without knowing it.
  10. Before going to bed, do some stretching exercises and repeat a few squats while brushing your teeth. Rinse off and then its time for sweet dreams.
