She is definitely Keeping Up With The Kardashian With her $31 million wedding

According to Forbes, Angelababy, whose real name is Angela Yeung, had a wedding that cost more to put on than the Oscars. Known as China's Kim Kardashian, the famous actress wed actor Huang Xiaoming in Shanghai on Oct. 8 in a ceremony held at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, with more than 2,000 guests.

OK, so just how does one spend $31 million on their wedding? Here's a few extravagant highlights:

  • A pre-wedding photo shoot featuring the bride in custom Elie Saab gowns:
  • A holographic castle.
  • A 10-foot carousel cake that took about a month to make
  • Pricy gift bags for guests that included cellphones (for 2,000 guests).
  • Stain-glass window lights.
  • A giant wall of flowers.
  • A custom handmade Dior gown with 115 feet of satin organza, 165 feet of tulle, a 10-foot train, and approximately 100 handmade rose bouquets crafted out of Chantilly lace.
  • A $1.5 million wedding band from Parisian jeweler Chaumet with a five-carat pear-shaped diamond.

That's just the tip of the iceberg. To keep all that in perspective, the cost of average wedding in the U.S. is about $26,000. Yahoo reports the couple did have some help paying for the wedding with sponsors. So how did the Kim K of China's wedding hold up to the real Kim's nuptials? Her wedding to Kanye West reportedly cost a measly $12 million.

And you thought your cousin's wedding at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas was a lavish affair.
