Ghanaian shopping guide to prepare for the lockdown

Due to the outbreak of Covid-19, President Akufo Addo has ordered a lockdown in certain parts of Ghana, including Accra, Kumasi, Tema and Kasoa effective Monday, March 30th 2020 for the next two weeks.

What to buy before a lockdown

What this means is that it is now very compulsory that you stay home for the set number of days unless you are going out to buy essential things, going to the bank or going to a public toilet. (He said that not us)

This also means if you are staying at home, you would need to stock up on some essentials. Before you rush out to the market or wherever it is you get your stuff for your home go through our list of essentials just to make sure you haven’t left anything out.
