Edible plant juice

Edible plants includes plants with parts that are safely edible by humans. And there is a wide range of them but in this recipe the edible plant used is Dandelion. They are native to Eurasia and North America, It has been used in herbal medicine to treat infections, bile and liver problems. Also in this recipe you should use carrots as a base and add a lemon. The carrots will be for sweetness, since the dandelion has a somewhat bitter taste. And the lemon for both taste and antioxidant. It keeps the juice fresher longer.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Lbs Carrots (1 kg)
  • 1 lemon, peeled
  • hand full of wild edible plants:
  • mostly dandelion or nettles

I put all ingredients in the juicer starting with the lemon. you can alternate carrots and greens for better extracting of the green juice. using a juicer is easier and quicker and cleaning. (but it extracts less of the greens)
