50 Questions That Will Make You Think All Of The Thoughts

Remember when youd have slumber parties with friends, and youd stay up way past your bedtime? There was always that point in the night where the conversation would shift from gossip about the cute boy in math class to something totally mind-boggling, like that youll never see your own face in person. (Yeah, sit with that one for a minute.)

50 Questions That Make You Question Everything

Well, its time to bring that curiosity back. , PhD, philosophy professor and director of the Gould Center for Humanistic Studies at Claremont Mckenna College, says asking yourself questions that make you think can help you get a little more control over life (yes, please!).

"We dont really want to be carried from moment to moment simply by the currents around us," she says. "Its important to step back and question what were doing and why, and also what we want to be doing and why. Otherwise, like a plastic bag, were just letting ourselves float in the wind." **Cue Katy Perry .**

Heres the (unsurprising) kicker: Questions that make you think are, uh, not easy to answer. Kind says one of the most important questions to ask yourselfwarning, its a doozyis: How can you bring meaning to your life? "It can help you figure out how you want to make your way in the world," she explains.

It also opens a can of worms, and soon enough, youll be questioning everything: work, family, friendships, responsibilities, basically the entire world around you. (Fun stuff, right?)
