Abby Lee Miller Just Shared A Video of Herself Walking After Being Wheelchair-Bound For A Year

Abby Lee Miller Is Starting To Walk Again
  • Abby Lee Miller posted a new video to Instagram showing herself walking after spending more than a year in a wheelchair.
  • Abby lost her mobility after being diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma and undergoing spinal surgery last year.
  • She captioned the video, "BABY STEPS!!"

Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller has been in a wheelchair since last year after she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Burkitt lymphoma and underwent spinal surgery. But she vowed earlier this year that she would be walking again by September. Well, Abbys made good on her promise, and she just shared a super inspirational video on Instagram of herself walking.

The video is zoomed in on Abbys feet and shows her slowly walking with the help of a walker. BABY STEPS! she wrote in the caption. Just watch it and try not to tear up.

People completely lost it in the comments. Yessss!!! You got this girl, wrote Dance Moms star GiaNina Paolantonio, while fellow Dance Mom star Brady Farrar said, Yeah Mrs Abby! There were also a ton of prayer hands and heart emojis in the mix because, you know, this is a BFD.

A few weeks ago, Abby completely floored people when she stood up and walked on The Doctors . In the video, she stands up slowly from her wheelchair with the help of a walker. She then holds onto the walker and takes one small step and then another. And people freaked out (in a good way).

"Watching this made me cry! she wrote on Instagram. Thank you @thedoctorstv for letting me share my story with the world! Dr Lawrence Piro, Dr Hooman Mellomed, Dr Christopher Boudakian, Dr Simoni for your wisdom and kindness. My PT was so amazing, CRI is the best! Im not nearly as strong as I was during this taping. I have a long way to go - if theres 1 thing I know, its that Im a fighter and theres no such thing as cant!"

Go Abby, go!
