Her patient is an older man with rosacea and super oily skin, and she goes to work with an extraction tool to remove the gunk from his clogged up pores at the center of his face. She starts on his cheeks, then moves to his nose.
"We've treated you for rosacea with some topical medications?" she asks as she starts extracting from his nose. "They only help really with the acne kind of bumps you get, not with the increased oil production, per-se."
While the man isn't sure if he's used the medication she's talking about, she mentions that his rosacea is definitely the cause of his skin redness.
"If you don't really, we won't worry about it so much. But that is part of why you have some redness on your face, your skin," she says.
She continues to extract blackheads and all kinds of clogged pores from his nose, and hits a jackpot as she moves upward.
"You've got some good ones here on the top of your nose!" she says, as the gunk pouring out of the squeezed pores gets longer and more frequent with every squeeze. "You're going to come out with a slimmer nose!"
You have to hand it to her, she has the best sense of humor.
