You might accidentally be using the wrong type of eyelash curler

Lash curlers aren't a one-size-fits-all sitch. How true is this?

NYC makeup artist Suzy Gerstein confirmed this, but instead of using the complex facial measurements in the post to find the right curler, she shares easy guidelines here.

Big eyes need one with a large arc such as Surratt Beauty Relevee Lash Curler. Smaller eyes can try a half curler, like M.A.C Half Lash Curler ; use it in two sections to fully cover all your lashes.

Yes! Angle the tool toward your nose and lightly press lashes three times: by the root, at the middle, and close to the end, for a gradual arc. (If you have short lashes, one crimp will do.)

Post-mascara, try a heated wand, such as Lash Star Beauty Heated Lash Styler. Run it through a few times to solidly set that arc.
