Jenna started intermittent fasting last summer , and said she did it at the time to break through a weight-loss plateau . It definitely worked: "Holy sh*t...excuse my French. But wow. I can now vouch for #intermittentfasting, she wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of her scale. "I haven't weighed this little for over 4 years."

It can help if someone wants to lose weight because oftentimes overeating at night is a big factor in weight gain, Warren said. Fasting will take away that obstacle.
