Luke, 24, and Ariel, 21, were reportedly standing close to each other outside of the restaurant with Luke's arm around Ariel's waist. This photo comes just one month after Ariel's reported breakup from longtime (three years, whew!) boyfriend, Levi Meaden.
E! News has since reported that Ariel and Luke are dating, but there hasn't been any official confirmation from Ariel or Luke. In the meantime, here's everything you need to know about Ariel's new boyfriend (maybe?).
Luke is also an actor.
He caught the attention of women all over the world after starring in Netflix's film Dumplin' with Jennifer Aniston and Danielle MacDonald. Luke played Bo Larson, the southern heartthrob who falls in love with Danielle's character, Dumplin'. When asked about his new status as a movie boyfriend (watch out, Peter Kavinsky!), Luke said it was amusing and entertaining. "It's just like, 'Cool, this is what it is now,'" he told ET. Luke has also starred in several other films and television shows including Life of The Party, Dear John, and these Disney throwbacks, Minutemen and Good Luck Charlie.
He and Ariel have already walked a red carpet together.
Their dinner rendezvous wasn't actually the first time Ariel and Luke have hung out. Just last week, the couple was spotted posing on a red carpet with Alexander Morales at the Lancme x Vogue L'Absolu Ruby holiday event.
They've been friends for a while.
In 2017, Luke posted a video of his birthday celebration and guess who was there? Ariel. In fact, she's the one holding Luke's birthday cake. The actor captioned the video, "Ya gotta wait for it, can't blow the candles until the last note has played across the lips of @sterlingbeau #birthdaywisdom #thisvideomakesmelaugh thanks again @arielwinter SUCH a fun night:)"
And it looks like Luke might have even been friends with Ariel's ex, Levi. In a 2017 pic, Luke posed with a group of friends including Ariel and Levi, whom he had his arm around. Luke captioned the photo, "In the dark corners of reality there is a place.."
Luke's a southern boy at heart.
Born in Franklin, Tennessee, Luke was raised by his mother, Kendra Benward, an actress, and father, Aaron Benward, a country music singer. In one of his earlier roles, Luke was cast as "Stevie Dewberry" in the 2005 film, Because of Winn-Dixie after choosing to audition with a toothpick in his mouth which is exactly what got him the role, according to IMDB .
And although Luke lives in LA, he still hasn't shaken off his country roots. In an interview with The Italian Reve , Luke said his favorite country song was anything by Chris Stapleton.
Family is important to him.
Luke's Instagram if filled with tons of photos of him and his siblings. The actor even has his family's crest tattooed on his back. He posted the photo to Instagram a few years ago, captioning the image, "My new tat, compliments of @_dr_woo_. #singleneedlewarrior #detailmaster #originalfamilycrest."
