After that jaw-dropping finale, you might've thought Clay and Nicole would have a lot to say at the reunion showbut Clay and Nicole bizarrely were nowhere to be seen. (Anyone else getting Chris and Katie vibes?) Turns out, the ex-couple didnt skip the show because they now hate each other or anythingtheir segment just got cut.
After watching the reunion show, both Nicole and Clay took to social media to set the record straight about what did, er, didn't go down in Paradise and beyond. Nicole wrote a long Twitter thread about her experience on the reality TV show.
After congratulating her friends who got engaged on BiP, she then went on to say this: "Ladies, we dont have to put up with anything less than wonderful. We are worthy of someones complete and all-encompassing respect, time, love, honesty, and energy."

Then, she pretty much went after Clay in a subtweet. "When a mans actions dont line up with his words, when a mans promises fall flat, and when a man dares to string you along knowing very well he does not see a future with youwe are better off on our own than loving a man who doesnt know what he has when he has it," she wrote. "I know its scary, but sometimes, the bravest thing we can ever do is love ourselves first. If that means to run, then run."

Clay also had some thoughts. "Yes I was at the reunion they chose not to show my convo with Nicole," he wrote on Twitter . "I basically explained why I didn't think we were far enough along to get engaged and that I really did want to continue to date and wished her luck with her new relationship. #didntmissmuch."

Clay also suggested that he kinda got screwed over by producers with the whole thing in a retweet of BiP alum's Ashley Iaconetti's tweet saying: "Can we talk about how weird it is that @clayharbs82 & @nicolelovar segment was cut out?"
In response to Ashley's question, Clay wrote, "Me: I'll be on vacation planned 6 months ago with college friends," he said. "Producers: you really need to be there ppl will want to know what happened. Me: Okay I'll cancel vaca and make it. Producers: ."

Clay didnt seem too upset about the whole thing, even joking that maybe the reason his and Nicole's segment got cut was because he wore a polka dot jacket.
Though Nicole and Clay didnt have their happy ending, several other couples did: Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour, Demi Burnett and Kristian Haggerty, and Katie Morton and Chris Bukowski all got engaged on the show and were still going strong on the reunion show.
