Prosecutors today announced the results of a grand jury investigation of Jimmy "Superfly" in the death of 23-yr-old, Nancy Argentino, of Brooklyn, New York.
Argentino was pronounced dead after authorities were called to a hotel room near Allentown in May 1983.
According to her autopsy report, recently obtained by The Morning Call, Argentino suffered multiple cuts and contusions on her entire body.
The autopsy says Argentino died of traumatic brain injuries consistent with a moving head striking a stationary object.
Nancy Argentino died on May 10, 1983, and Superfly Snuka was the only person of interest at the time, yet he was never charged.
The investigation was re-opened after continuous pressure from Argentino's family.
72 yr-old Snuka, now living in Waterford Township, New Jersey, wrote in his 2012 autobiography that he was innocent in her death, which he said ruined his life.
He said he never hit or threatened her.
Court records indicate that Snuka was arraigned this afternoon and sent to Lehigh County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
