Wales international Jamie Roberts made an apparent suggestion to Australia star David Pocock to follow his lead in playing for Cambridge University.
Roberts recommends Cambridge University to Pocock
Cambridge could have two internationals in their Varsity team if David Pocock opts to join Jamie Roberts at the prestigious university.
Brumbies flanker Pocock was an integral part of the Australia side that reached the final of the Rugby World Cup last year, but he is reportedly contemplating taking a year out of the game when his contract with the Australian Rugby Union expires in December.
Media reports have suggested that Pocock is considering studying at either Cambridge or Oxford University during a 12-month break.
And Roberts, who is doing a two-year part-time medical sciences degree, seemingly recommended Cambridge to Pocock by posting on Twitter "Light Blue I hope @David Pocock" in an apparent reference to Cambridge's team colours.
If Pocock were to pursue his studies at Cambridge it would open up the possibility of he and Roberts playing in the same Varsity team against Oxford.
