Gov’t To Distribute 10,000 Free Sandals To Pupils
Government has promised to give pupils across the country free sandals.

Apart from the free sandals, half a million school uniforms will also be distributed to pupils and 30,000 computers also given to various school laboratories across the country.
Additionally, 15 million exercise books and six million text books will also be distributed to the schools.
Delivering his third state of the nation address, President Mahama announced that 10,000 sandals will be distributed for free this year.

He noted that this amongst other initiatives was part of Government’s commitment towards improving quality education and accessibility.
