Nana Aba should resign from TV3 - Samson Lardy

“I would have advised her to just go ahead and jump; she should ditch them. She should go ahead and throw in her resignation and move on", Lardy said.

Legal practitioner Samson Lardy Anyenini has asked suspended TV3 broadcaster Nana Aba Anamoah to resign from the company.

Nana Aba Anamoah’s suspension came after days of massive public backlash against her following her alleged involvement in an "online information and photo theft".

Speaking on Accra-based Starr Fm, the legal practitioner believes TV3 has unduly embarrassed her. He further said the company should have been bold enough to state in specific terms the portions of their code of ethics that have been breached by the presenter’s actions on twitter.

“If I were her advocate, I would have advised her not to give them the time and chance to revoke that suspension because they may be minded to revoke the suspension because of the public backlash.“I would have advised her to just go ahead and jump; she should ditch them. She should go ahead and throw in her resignation and move on. And I want her to prove to her haters and also her lovers that she has value in the market and that she has some pride about her price,” Anyenini stated.

Nana Aba had been trending for photos she shared on twitter suggesting that she was at Old Trafford last Saturday to watch the “Red Devils” play Sunderland.

The picture however happened to belong to another person, who after seeing that he had been cropped out of the photograph subsequently released other photos to show that the photos belonged to him and not Nana Aba.

Many have said that the suspension and subsequent public notice was too much a harsh decision and are asking management to reconsider its sanction.
