Maxwell Kofi Jumah will be put before court today in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi for destroying electoral materials and disturbing public peace.

He was arrested by the police in the Ashanti Region for vandalizing election materials.

Mr. Kofi Jumah was reported to have torn the voter register on suspicion that it has been doctored to favour incumbent, Patricia Appiagyei. Read more

The Buffalo Unit of the police in the region picked him up in a very tensed atmosphere and taken away before he could cause any further damage.
