Boy attempts to murder his father for refusing him education

Emma Darteh, allegedly made an attempt to murder his father for refusing to make him continue his education to the senior high school level after he completed junior high school.

The suspect, Emma Darteh, allegedly made an attempt to murder his father for refusing to make him continue his education to the senior high school level after he completed junior high school.

The 30 year-old Rastafarian unlike his 6 siblings who had secondary and tertiary education was not allowed to further his education after he completed his basic education.

The suspect, Emma Darteh is the second of Mr. Effah Darteh’s seven children.

According to Accra-based Rainbow radio,  on several occasions  Emma entreated his father to make him continue his education after completing junior high school but all proved futile.

Out of frustration, Emma pulled out a knife and threatened to kill his father for refusing to see him through higher education.

Even though, the victim escaped, he wasn’t fortunate enough as the knife harmed him.
