Italian legend edges closer to New York City FC move

Andrea Pirlo who attended a New York City FC game over the weekend is set to sign for the big apple club

 

Juventus midfield veteran Andrea Pirlo is edging closer to a move to the MLS.

The Italian World Cup winner attended New York City FC's game against neighbours New York Red Bulls over the weekend at the Yankee Stadium.

Pirlo's move to the Big Apple should be confirmed within the next 48 hours according to reports.

Speculations have been rife as to where the legend will be playing his football next season, but his appearance at the game have made it clear he will be signing for the New York City FC.

New York City FC will also this summer welcome former Chelsea midfielder, Frank Lampard.

The MLS club have former Spain International David Villa in their books.

Real Madrid star, Gareth Bale and former French International Patrick Viera all as they vacation in the United States of America.
