Mahama reshuffle heads of public institutions

Barring any last minute changes heads of some key state-owned organisations will be reassigned or removed from their posts.

The Chief Executives of the National Health Insurance Authourity (NHIA), National Pensions Regulatory Authourity (NPRA) and the National Identification Authourity (NIA) have all been relieved of their positions.

President John Mahama announced during a stakeholders forum on the Single Spine in Koforidua that government was going to remove non-performing Public officials and reshuffle others where need be.

The Chief Executive of the NHIA Sylvester Mensah has been replaced with his Deputy Nathaniel Otu.

Josiah Cobbah of the National Identification Authority is replaced with Kwame Griffiths whiles a former member of the Brazil Commission of Enquiry Kofi Anokye Owusu Darko, takes over from Laud Senanu at the National Pensions Regulatory Authourity.
