The final funeral rites of the late Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem will then be organised in a year's time.
This will be done by the new Queen Mother and the Asantehene.
The late Asantehemaa passed away in November 2016 at the age of 111.
No person was seen on the streets between the hours of 7pm Thursday and 4am Friday in line with her burial.
Ahead of her burial, several Shops in Adum, Kumasi central market as well as other vibrant market centres in Kumasi were all closed.
