Car Catches Fire At Shiashie, Causes Heavy Traffic

A private car caught flames on the Shiashie-Accra road around the Food & Drugs Boards Office.

News reaching Pulse.com.gh has it that a heavy traffic jam has taken over the Accra-Madina road. This traffic situation is as the result of a burnt car around the Food & Drugs Boards Office at the Shiashie area.

The car according to eyewitness is a “private” saloon car. Other drivers on the road have decided to stop for the fire to finish burning before moving, this has increased the traffic condition.

Apparently, the fire service has been called in to contain the situation, but the Ghana National Fire Service has not yet appeared at the scene.

Pulse.com.gh was unable to confirm whether the incident was void of casualties but it seem no one was hurt.
