I don't need a certificate to fight corruption - Anas

Anas has dismissed claims by Martin Amidu he is unlicensed to undertake undercover investigations.

 

Investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has indicated that nobody needs a certificate to fight corruption in the country.

According to Anas, "I have permit from the Interior Ministry to work as an investigative company. You don't need permit to fight corruption."

He, has however dismissed claims by 'Citizen Vigilante' and former Attorney-General Martin Amidu he is unlicensed to undertake undercover investigations.

"If anybody feels strongly that I am not properly registered to investigate the judiciary, let him proceed to court," Anas stated.

Anas in response to Martin Amidu’s attacks on Accra-based Joy FM said his doors are open for a collaboration with Martin Amidu if he wishes.

"I am ready to work with him; maybe we can do something together on the legislature. I don’t mind working with him at all,"he added.
