Dr. Issahaku appointed governor of Bank of Ghana

A source close to the Central Bank revealed to Pulse.com.gh that Dr. Issahaku is the president’s preferred choice given his experience working for international financial institutions, the IMF and the African Development Bank, AFDB.

 

The Second Deputy Governor replaces resigned governor, Dr. Henry Kofi Wampah.

Before ascending to the position of Second Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr. Issahaku was the acting Chief Executive Officer of Export Development and Agricultural Investment Fund (EDAIF). .
