Corporate entities in Ghana have been donating financially to support the 60th Independence anniversary celebrations of the country.

This follows calls from the government for them to support the events to mark the anniversary. This will reduce the spending from the public purse.

In a response to the call, UMB has donated an amount of GHC 100,000 towards Ghana’s 60 Years Celebrations.

The amount would be given to the ultimate winner of the Jubilee Innovation Challenge, which was launched by the Minister of Information, Mr Mustapha Abdul-Hamid.
