100,000 youth to be engaged in the agric sector
Dr Bernice Adiku Heloo urged the youth to take advantage of the unique opportunity which would transform and change lives for the better.
The programme, she said, is going to be rolled out by the Ministries of Youth and Sports and Employment and Labour relations.
She made the disclosure when she was addressing the Homecoming Durbar of the chiefs and people of Santrokofi, in the Hohoe Municipality.
She urged the youth to take advantage of the unique opportunity which would transform and change lives for the better.
Dr Heloo, who is the Member of Parliament for the area, noted that many projects had stalled, and promised to take necessary steps to complete them.
She also appealed to the chiefs and people to continue to contribute to the development of the area, since government cannot do it alone.
