Zenith sets new level for bank growth in Ghana after 4000% growth

Total assets of the Bank have grown from 64 million Ghana Cedis at the end of 2006 to over 3 billion Ghana Cedis at the end of 2014.

Zenith Bank Ghana Limited has seen tremendous growth over the past ten year of operations in the country. Reflecting on the bank's growth in Ghana so far,  as part of the Bank's 10th Anniversary Celebrations,  management of the Bank revealed that the financial institution has recorded over 4000 per cent growth in the ten years of operating in the country.

According to the pioneering Board Chairman of the Bank, Dr. Mary Chenery Hessey, the total assets of the Bank have grown from 64 million Ghana Cedis at the end of 2006 to over 3 billion Ghana Cedis at the end of 2014.

Dr. Mary Chenery Hessey said this in her speech at the Bank's 10th anniversary thanksgiving ceremony on Sunday in Accra.

Meanwhile Managing director of Zenith Bank, Daniel Asiedu has expressed delight at the bank's growth over the years, and promised to do all in his power to sustain the growth and even further accelerate it in the coming years.

Zenith Bank Ghana Limited is  a financial services  provider was incorporated in April 2005 under the Banking Act 2004 as a private limited liability company  as commercial universal banking operation  in September 2005.

It is a subsidiary of Zenith Bank PLC one of the largest banks in Nigeria with an S&P rating of +B/B (Stable)  in 2011, revised to a positive outlook in 2012.
