It stated that after a meeting with NPA, TOR and the Premix Committee agreed that supplies be capped at 150 which will be increased to 200 trucks in peak periods.

This response is in compliance with President Nana Addo’s directive over the constant shortage of premix fuel during the peak seasons.
In July 2017, there was a shortage of premix fuel in the fishing communities along the coast.
The Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Elizabeth Afoley Quaye blamed the shortage on faulty pumps at TOR.
However, TOR denied the allegation.
TOR said that its machines are all functioning appropriately and also have the capacity to meet the demands of the target market.
