Royal Bank owner, Alhaji Idris Adamu is dead
Alhaji Idris Amadu was 72 years old and founded the Global Haulage Company, a renowned company in Ghana, which has been operational in Ghana since 1953.

Under the parent company, the Global Haulage Group Limited can boast of a number of subsidiaries like Royal Bank, Imperial General Insurance, Federated Commodities, Trans Royal Ltd, Cocoa Merchant, Royal Commodities, Isudam Constructions and Global Automobile Limited.
From a small beginning of 15 vehicles in 1971, the company now owns and runs over 230 trucks daily.Dr. Adamu also received the Millennium Excellence Awards. He was the Greater Accra District Best Farmer in 1986 and the Greater Accra Regional Best Farmer in 1987.
