The youth of Nkoranza municipality have revoked the curses placed on officials of the Central bank for freezing the accounts of some microfinance companies in the area.

Some irate youth of the community last week invoked curses on the Electoral Commission and voters in the area to prevent them from taking part in the upcoming district level elections.

The situation compelled the Electoral Commission to postpone elections in both Nkoranza North and South.

The president of the Nkoranza Youth, Samson Konadu has however said the curses will be invoked again if customers of the affected companies do not receive their investments.

“All we want is our money. And our leaders came to tell us that they are still working on it. And so we should go and release the curses. So they have given us two weeks. So we have revoked all the curses. We are waiting for their two weeks. They are saying they will give us all our money for us in two weeks. So in two weeks, if our money doesn't come it will be worse than what we have done. We will do it again”, he said on Starr FM.
