One of Ghana’s biggest telecommunication networks, Vodafone Ghana, has reiterated its commitment in successfully hosting both new and old Ghanaian businesses on its newly introduced ‘Internet of Things’ (IoT) services.

Edward Aikins, the head of Vodafone Business disclosed this during a one-day business forum held at Labadi Beach Hotel.

With Vodafone Ghana’s “IoT” services, Ghanaian business can track and monitor daily activities with just simple devices and software provided by the telecommunication giant. The “IoT” services also provide maximum security for its customers.

Speaking at the forum, Eddie said “We have ourselves ready for the ‘IoT’ business in Ghana to grow by having such a robust platform.”

He continued “Now, companies can decide to build applications for various verticals with our support. Our companies like Samsung  can now begin to bring devices because the ecosystem is made up of three; the device, connectivity with Vodafone and the application that serves various industries.”

“Vodafone is ready!” he said. “We have this platform out there and we are seeking to work closely with all players or stakeholders in the ecosystem to be able to deliver ‘IoT’ in Ghana,” Eddie concluded.
