Microsoft is still interested in mobile?

This is a question that we were forced to ask after noting the absence of these new mobile devices at various keynotes of Build 2016, which was held last week in San Francisco. Terry Myerson, boss of Windows, also told to our colleagues at The Verge that the mobile platform was not at the heart of Microsoft's attention for now.

Some time later, when asked about the possible abandonment of mobile and Windows mobile, Satya Nadella, CEO of the American giant, told Business Insider that he had given his group three additional years.

However, Microsoft's position on mobile may not be a total abandonment if Windows Central is anything to go by.

According to the website, Microsoft could finally launch its Surface Phone but not before early 2017.

The smartphone which has been the subject of speculation since late January, when Microsoft bought the domain surfacephone.com, would therefore still relevant. Intended to replace the Lumia range, the Surface Phone has long been expected.
