Employee sues company for GHC2.5m

A former disgruntled worker of Vodafone Ghana has  sued the   company  to the tune of 2,500,000 for wrongfully dismissing him.

According to the plaintiff, he was in Vodafone’s official vehicle being driven by its official driver they had an accident that caused the car to  when it somersault about four times and hit a ditch, causing him to become unconscious for three days.

"I was still in my hospital bed when Vodafone laid me off September 15, 2010" Mr. ODugbatey lamented.

"Our economy is in crisis," Nana Addo draws conclusion

The flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Nana Akufo Addo has drawn conclusion that Ghana's economy is in crisis.

Addressing what he termed as the 'Real State of the Nation' today at the Physician and Surgeon College in Accra in the Greater Accra region, Nana Addo said "I believe the only conclusion to draw is that ours is a nation in crisis. Ghana is a nation in crisis."
