Auto manufacturer reveals 5 step strategy for comeback

Volkswagen has a new 5 step plan to reach the number one spot in auto sales.

It is old news that Volkswagen is having it's worst year with the big diesel emissions scandal.

In fact, the German automaker has reported it's first quarterly loss in 15 years.

However, the company is planning a huge comeback with it's 5 step strategy.

This strategy has been dubbed Strategy 2025, with the most vital step being the support of customers affected by the scandal.

According to Matthias Müller, the new CEO, step 1-the support of customers affected by the scandal, is being dealt with as technical solutions will be ready by January 2016. Coincidentally, that is when the first recalls are expected to start.

Step 2 involves the ongoing investigation into the diesel scandal.  Müller is promising those responsible “severe” consequences as an independent audit firm, Deloitte, has been hired to handle the investigation.

Step 3 deals with restructuring, 4 involves team spirit and cooperation. The CEO is demanding for more courage, greater creativity and a more entrepreneurial spirit.

The last step has to with moving from the old plan, reaching the number one spot in auto sales with 2018 as a target, to the new Strategy 2025.

More will be revealed about the Strategy 2025 before mid-2016.

Do you think Volkswagen can reach the number one spot in auto sales despite the scandal?
