Some of the features include 'WhatsApp for Business' which essentially will make it easier for business such as banks and airlines to send messages to customers easily.

However, the feature that has got many users apprehensive is data sharing.

Data sharing will simply make it easier for Facebook to gather information about users and target adverts at it.

Many have raised concerns about this latest feature. However, WhatsApp has made it possible to make opt out of this program if you have concerns.

To continue using WhatsApp, you need to Read and Agree to the new terms and conditions. Those are usually lengthy and quite confusing.

So here is a simple how-to guide for opting out of data sharing:

1. WhatsApp is sending out messages to it's users about its new terms.

2.  Don't click Agree right away. Click on read and then scroll down to the bottom and uncheck the part that says you have agreed to data sharing.
