Former President John Kufuor escaped unhurt when his convoy was involved in an accident on Thursday.

Confirming the incident to Pulse.com.gh, Spokesperson for the Former president, Frank Agyekum said "The out rider of his convoy had an accident but the president is not involved he is okay."

The accident occurred at Amango down in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region when the outrider of the former President's convoy collided with a bike rider.
Confirming the incident to Pulse.com.gh, Spokesperson for the Former president, Frank Agyekum said "The out rider of his convoy had an accident but the president is not involved he is okay. A bike rider crossed the out rider and there was a collision between them but both of them got up they are okay. Everybody in his convoy is okay."
Mr. Samuel Jayer, the 58 year-old bike rider who was involved in the accident with the former president has however been sent to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for treatment.
