According to reports, Danny Nettey passed away on Friday dawn in Accra after a short illness.

Daniel Tetteh Nettey was known for his urban gospel style that won him many admirers especially among the youth. Among his many hits song is “I will worship you.” He worked actively on the gospel music scene for over two decades.
The circumstances surrounding his sudden demise are still unclear and his family is expected to make an officially pronouncement.
Brief biography

Danny Nettey attended Accra Academy where his interests in music was honed. He was the music director at the school and the president of the Scripture Union. He has served as a mentor for many other gospel musicians including Cwesi Oteng, Joe Beechem and Nii Okai.
