Scientist develops formula to remove ‘bad effects’ of alcohol
In the United Kingdom, a formula; called Alcosynth (synthetic alcohol), has been developed that claims to take away the ‘bad effects’ of alcohol.

However, the substance has been linked to many negatives health conditions affecting organs such as the liver and the heart
Alcosynth (presumably a pill) will be dispensed into your drink and then “you’ll have the pleasure without damaging your liver and your heart”, says Professor David Nutt, who developed the formula.

According to Nutt, the promise of hangover-free booze will be revolutionary to the alcohol industry and firmly believes that by 2050, it will replace conventional alcohol.
Critics say the formula has not been put through enough rigour scientific testing to prove Nutt’s claims. Conservatives also say, if indeed true, alcosynth will promote uncontrolled drinking. Also while it claims to be good for consumers’ health, it does not provide a solution to social vices associated with alcohol.
