Kumchacha Replies Rawlings, Says He Doesn't Need English To Be A Prophet

Founder and leader of Heaven Gate Ministry, Prophet Nicholas Osei has said he is not disconcerted by former President Jerry Rawlings's assertion that he abuses the name of God to lure his parishioners. According to him, in the futurist view of Christian eschatology, tribulations are relatively short period of time where everyone will experience worldwide hardships, disasters, famine, war, pain, and suffering from one another. Sounding biblical, Prophet Nicholas Osei, popularly known asKumchacha quoted Luke 6:26 to express his view to Mr. Rawlings that, it will be wrong if he [Kumchacha] is not criticised.“Woe unto you when all men shall speak well of you..for so did their fathers to the false prophets,” He said. John Jerry Rawlings who was addressing a durbar on Saturday to crown the 2014 Amu (brown rice) Festival of the chiefs and people of the Avatime Traditional Area at Avatime Gbadzeme in the Volta Region questioned Kumchacha and the founder and leader of God's Way International Ministry, Bishop Daniel Obinim’s motives for misusing the name of God and manipulating the ignorance of their followers. According to him, some of the claims often made by Obinim and Kumchacha on TV are not real and asked managers of local TV stations to place an embargo on their preaching and miracles on their medium. But in an interview on OKAY FM’s Ade Akye Abiaprogramme, Prophet Nicholas Osei insisted that he is a genuine man of God after describing the former president's claim as “unfortunate”.“President Rawlings is my father and my former president, aside that, I will be very glad to have him as a family member. I really respect him. He has expressed his opinion and he is entitled to that. I have served the Lord for so many years and no one has ever had any claims against me. I believe in this work, we will face challengers...even Jesus Christ faced challengers so I am not worried about Rawlings,” he said. “I don’t have to speak big English to be a prophet or to be real. President Rawlings must know that my work is a calling from God. Does he [Prez Rawlings] want me to speak big vocabs? May be with that he will believe I am real,” he added.
